Spotting Faro 2011-11-24

On a day marked by the industrial action in Portugal (strike) and being advised that the airport was zero rated, I decided to go there and see what the panorama was looking like.
And here it is the result: 3 based Ryanair aircraft grounded, another one is damaged by the downburst phenomena of October and an A320 of TAP Portugal.
And here I present today's photos:

This aircraft, GCERX, operated by Hangar 8 is resting at Faro for unspecified time as her partner GSVIP sitting for quite a long time now...

Time for some repairs on this Cessna Citation, GCGSB and belonging to the Faro based Sol Companhia de Aviação

Also time for repairs on EIDPA, the B738 worst affected by the 85KT wind of the downburst phenomena that affected LPFR.

Hidden behind the stored 9QCMC, B722 of Congo, is Gulfstream 4 MYGLK, also damaged by the strong winds as an aircraft baggage load ramp slammed right below the aircraft. It's mysteriously covered and the work area also... I would guess that the conditions of the aircraft are a bit messy and to protect the owner this is the solution until works are concluded.

That's it.
