Transavia on 28th October, on approach to Faro, engine trouble
A Transavia Boeing 737-700, registration PH-XRA, on flight TRA6093, from Rotterdam to Faro declared PAN PAN PAN while descending to flight level 120 due some trouble on number 1 (left) engine.
The pilot requested fire fighters to be on standby near the runway, the aircraft landed without further incident.
The aircraft was subsequently accompanied by fire vehicles to the parking stand and departure flight was cancelled.
The runway was closed for about 20 minutes and no injuries occured.
